Fluminense beats Boca Juniors 2-1 in extra time and is the Copa Libertadores champion

RIO DE JANEIRO,BRAZIL.- Fluminense was crowned champion of the Copa Libertadores de América after defeating Boca Juniors 2-1 in a close and dramatic match played at the Maracaná Stadium.

It was the Brazilian team that took the lead in the 36th minute thanks to Germán Cano’s goal, which broke the equality that had remained until that moment.

Boca Juniors reacted in the second half when, in a great individual action, Luis Advíncula took a powerful shot to beat goalkeeper Fábio.
